Concord, NH ~ New England’s new television show, Iron Brides™ announced today that auditions are now being sought for Season II, Boston. A male and female show host and eight brides-to-be will be needed by the new concept TV show, and the Boston episodes are expected to air beginning in June, 2009. The show will thrust 8 contestants together to compete for a grand prize of a $9,000 wedding photography and videography package.
Engaged women, 21 or older, who are planning to hold their ceremonies anywhere in Massachusetts after July 15, 2009, are eligible to audition without charge as contestants. Anyone living in Massachusetts at the time of their audition is eligible to audition without charge as a show host. Potential contestants and show hosts can register online at the show’s web site (www.IronBrides.TV) and upload a YouTube video or attend an open audition. The first open audition is scheduled on November 21, 2008 at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem at 2:00PM and continues until 8:00PM.
George C. Jobel, the Iron Brides™ executive producer, indicated the show will also be conducting open auditions in 2009 in Lynn on February 20, Quincy on March 13 and Taunton on March 20. Auditions for Season II will close March 27 and taping will begin in April.
The Iron Brides™ TV format is unique. Once the eight bride finalists are chosen as contenders, each will be given demanding tasks of planning their weddings, be tested in life skills, athletic abilities, personality and more. The grand prize winner will walk away with a $9,000 dream wedding photography and videography package, with runner-ups receiving prizes planned to be offered by sponsors, including limousines, catering, custom invitations, bridal party hair and makeup for the big day.
