Jade Goody, a British reality television star whose battle with cancer has become the latest episode of her life to play out in public, has returned home as she nears death, her publicist, Max Clifford, said on Sunday.
“She’s very fragile, she’s heavily sedated,” Mr. Clifford said in a telephone interview. “It could be anytime.”
Ms. Goody is surrounded by her closest friends and family, including her mother and her husband, Jack Tweed, whom she married several weeks ago, Mr. Clifford said. Her two young sons visited earlier in the day.
However he dismissed a report on The News of The World Web site that Ms. Goody was on the cusp of death.
“She could be in her last hours, but we could be having this conversation in a few days,” he said.
