Matt Taylor will be seen by millions of TV viewers in a new reality adventure series.
The 23-year-old, from Tewkesbury, survived being exposed to CS gas, stung by jungle ants and handling a giant South American snake.
And those were just some of the tough tests he and seven other people were put through.
They spent two-and-a-half months travelling to various parts of the world for Channel Five’s forthcoming show, Unbreakable.
It was designed to push ordinary people to the limit, and will be presented by adventurer Benedict Allen.
An eight-week series will begin on October 6. It will go out at 9pm every Monday and be repeated at 8pm on Sundays.
Matt said: “I did quite well. I’m probably not able to say more than that.”
