Michelle Delamor is rumored to be a top 24 contestant on the singing competition American Idol. She auditioned for the show in Orlando, Florida during the 9th season with the song “Chain of Fools,” originally by Aretha Franklin. While her audition wasn’t featured during the first weeks of the show, a promo was released with Delamor appearing very excited to be auditioning for the show after watching it on television for eight years. In a subsequent video release, Delamor was shown singing, then Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi all voted for her to go to Hollywood. She graduated in 2006 from Miami Beach Senior High School where she was a member of the D.D.C, Diversified Dance Crew, and is now a college student at Miami Dade College, Wolfson campus working on a major in music. In addition to singing, she also aspires to design her own “funky-glamorous” clothing line. She has appeared as a backup singer on JoJo’s song “If I Wrote a Note to God,” and has performed in a variety of shows in south Florida.
