On Sunday’s new episode of The Amazing Race 13, the teams will remain in Moscow, Russia for their penultimate leg. Moscow, last Sunday, proved to be a difficult city to get around in, not to mention incredibly expensive. Hundred dollar cab rides? Really? The language barrier was equally trying, and made life incredibly difficult for a couple of teams. One more full leg in the city is going to be an epic chore for the final four teams, each of whom are clamoring for a spot in the final three and a chance to win the million dollars. The Amazing Race is nearing an end, folks. At least, after this season, we won’t have to wait almost a year for the next season.
Toni and Dallas Will Start to Fade
Toni has shown no signs of fatigue just yet, but I have to imagine it’s coming soon. Dallas spent up a lot of energy carrying those big bags of flour, and he may very well be sore once the next leg begins. If you add that to my sneaking suspicion that these two have been racing above their abilities for the last few legs, I see a regression out of them. I don’t see a first place finish in their future.
Andrew and Dan, Despite Insane Luck, Will Still Almost Lose
Andrew and Dan are going to continue their insane ability to advance on The Amazing Race despite running terrible legs. Once more, they will fumble around like a couple of buffoons, and once again they will be saved by forces completely out of their control. This next leg will feature one of the teams losing all of their money and their passports. Or, at least that’s what the CBS promos have told us. They have a tendency to embellish the truth, but there was one clip in that promo that leads me to believe that this loss of personal belongings was the real deal: Ken and Tina taking a bus.
Ken and Tina Will Be Eliminated
I suppose there could be a challenge that requires teams to decipher Moscow’s bus system, but that seems a little simple this far into the race. I predict that Ken and Tina will be the one’s to lose their money and passports. Losing your passport is an almost insurmountable obstacle. Luckily, the teams aren’t traveling outside of the country on this leg, so they can deal with the loss of ID after the leg is over. However, losing all of your money is equally brutal on The Amazing Race, because you can’t take any cab rides. Hence, the bus. It will be sad and undeserved, but I fear it will be the truth. Ken and Tina will be eliminated.
